Lily or Iris Motif – Location Unknown (in the Castle)

One wallpaper pattern could not be associated with a specific room in Trakošćan Castle. The surviving fragment, featuring a stylised flower resembling either a lily or an iris, was documented and analysed but not reproduced.

Without evidence of its original location, complete repeat or relationship to the surrounding interior, any reconstruction would have been largely conjectural. The fragment was therefore preserved as material evidence and an open subject for future research.
