Trakošćan is one of the few places in Croatia with its own preserved documentation, which is closely historically linked to the building’s architecture and the lives of its owners, the Drašković family. The museum holds valuable museum artefacts from the Renaissance to Historicism, divided into several collections: the Weapons Collection, the Paintings and Prints Collection, the Furniture Collection, the Book Collection, the Photography Collection, the Hunting Collection, the Tableware Collection, the Varia Collection, and the Archival Material Collection.
