It traces its development during the 20th century when the castle was transformed into a museum. It describes the life of the inhabitants and the functioning of the space that served as a defensive structure and a comfortable home at the same time.

This publication aims to convey the life of a long-lived building and the circumstances in which it has managed to survive to this day, to draw attention to the great importance and age of the building as well as its architectural complexity. Its structure retains numerous layers that arose from various alterations necessitated by defensive needs, conflicts, economic requirements, stylistic periods, as well as the tastes of its owners. The castle’s survival and good condition are the result of successful management as well as the circumstances it faced throughout its long history.
