The focal point of the kitchen is a large white tile stove, built at the beginning of the 20th century. It consists of a firebox and a large cooking plate. It is flanked by two hot air stoves on one side, and with a little copper warm water tank with a tap on the other. Of interest is the smoke vent system with a pipe running under the kitchen floor towards the wall where it connects to a vertical chimney. There is also a bread oven in the corner. The adjacent room served as a pantry where groceries were stored.
The dungeon is situated in the basement of the western tower. In there You can see one of the torture devices, the so called “pillory”: in order to force the prisoner to confess, or to punish the offender, his wrists and neck were locked in place in the holes of the pillory.
